About "Woman"

The artist’s attempt through this art work is to capture the formal qualities of a woman – the communication of femininity being subjective. There is however something unrestricted, and universal about the female figure as depicted by the artist. A woman even if solitary can be a dominant and fine example of balance and quiet strength.

She can be a wife, a mother, a nurturer, and even a free-spirited individual completely secure and in harmony with herself. In spite of the uncanny depiction and strange portrayal of the female figure – there is something substantial that evokes the desire to understand a woman. It is the artist’s attempt to see the world as one – devoid of the divisive term of gender.
